highly anticipated reads of 2024
2023 was the year of newly released romance novels blowing up on BookTok, can 2024 keep that trend going?
2023 brought outstanding novels like Emily Henry’s Happy Place, Meet Me at The Lake by Carley Fortune, and tons of series additions like Lucy Score’s Things We Hide From The Light and Things We Left Behind, as well as, Lauren Ashers’ Final Offer.
2024 has a lot to live up to, however, these seem to be BookTok’s most anticipated romance reads of the year.
Funny Story by Emily Henry
Emily Henry has been a household name on BookTok for several years now, what better way to start this list other than with another one of her novels.

She proposes to be roommates with Petra’s ex, Miles. Chaotic Miles couldn’t be any more opposite from practical Daphne. The roommates hardly interact, drowning their sorrows from their connected past, they form a friendship and a plan. Posting deliberately misleading photos of their summer adventure couldn’t lead to falling in love, right? Especially when it’s your ex-fiance's new fiance's ex… right?
Funny Story comes out April 23, 2024.
